Her Medusa stare,-
Stoic and stone cold.
You try to avert your eyes,
You try to avoid her hold.
Her allure strengthens,
Too difficult to ignore.
You lock the door behind you,-
She waits outside for more.
Like a mythological enigma,
Nothing is what it seems.
Black mamba venom on her lips,
She hisses in your dreams.
Just before you wake up,
She starts to extend her fangs.
You open your eyes, in a cold sweat,
In her hands, your sanity hangs.
She parades her puppets around,
It’s just how she stalks her prey.
Before you have the time to blink,
You’re swallowed by her eyes of grey.
