It’s easy to get lost in menial things. Life is hard, it’s ending quicker than any of us want to acknowledge. While in our physical form, we’re forced to overcome a steady stream of obstacles that the universe places before us. How we handle these adversities defines us.
For me, bipolar disorder is just one of my daily challenges. For years, I’ve silently dealt with my own issues. Rarely feeling comfortable enough to describe in detail what a day trapped in my own mind feels like.
We all have a calling, we all have a cause in life. Our beautiful minds were all specifically wired to channel our own frequencies. The more I share my poetry and the more I speak about my experiences with Bipolar Disorder, the more I realize that I have to do more.
While I will continue to write about and enjoy some of life’s more menial things, (Sports, Rap, Comedy, Poetry etc.) I realize it’s time to help as many people like me as humanly possible. The easiest way to do that is to reach out and tell my story, and keep my ears and heart open to all of your stories.
Bipolar Awareness is a cause that I will advocate until my last breath. If you know anyone who is dealing with the disorder, or are dealing with the disorder yourself, Send me a message at Justin.McCahren@gmail.com or join this wordpress.com site. You can follow by e-mail or via twitter.
I will be posting Bipolar Awareness updates, information and sharing my own experiences. Don’t run from this disorder, attack it head-on. When it feels too difficult to take it on yourself, realize you aren’t alone and there are people who want to help. I’m not a doctor, I won’t have all the answers, but I may be able to help you find the answers.
